The importance of mother-infant bonding  In the workplace

Get to Know Us!

For generations, during the Industrial Revolution to until three decades ago, mothers typically stayed at home and bonded with their infants.

Women are now entering the workforce in greater numbers than ever before.

But this shift has sparked a new wave of

concerns - â€‹maternity support remains minimal, leaving mothers to face the emotional toll of being separated from their babies, expressing while working, and navigating the difficulties of privacy, storage, and transport.

Our Mission

We aim to generate scientific evidence for a third way - one where mothers can both work and maintain

a strong bond with their baby.

We want to assess how Baby-friendly lactation spaces impact the wellbeing of mothers and infants, with the goal of promoting family-friendly policies in existing lactation spaces.
