1. Mothers will be asked to complete surveys at 1 and 6 months following-delivery.

 

2. Mothers will collect the following samples from themselves and their babies:

- nasal swabs

- oral swabs

- skin swabs

- stool samples

We want to study how the difference in standard daycare vs. baby-friendly lactation spaces can impact the mother's emotional well-being and infant microbiome development, with a particular focus on the effects of breastfeeding and mother-child bonding.
